Hey guys! My name is Jadon, I'm an actor who's been in and around the craft for a few years as an adult and definitely as a kid. I've been doing some of my own projects and student films that are halfway decent as I'm trying to progress each day(hopefully to get a sag card and eventually get into bigger productions). T…

Hey guys, I’m an actor and have a lot of experience within theatre. However very minimal singing experience, I really wanna start to improve my singing voice as it would open up more castings for me, whilst I do plan on getting lessons at some point (when I can afford it lol) is there anything anyone can suggest to sta…

Hey everybody! I’ve been inspired by [the post](https://reddit.com/r/acting/comments/epyay7/hey_actors_my_day_job_is_in_casting_send_me_links/) from u/ace_113 and I figured I’d do my part to keep the good deeds going. If you need your reel edited, let me know. If you have a bunch of footage and you need it put together…

It’s not fake, is it? The guy said I had auditioned for him in the past, but it’s been so long that I don’t remember. He is asking if I’d be interested in joining a list of some spreadsheet of actors to use on his projects. The only thing he mainly asks for is a recent headshot, reel (or acting video), union status, ra…

I recently got an Eco Cast audition request for an ULB film on AA. Due to some extenuating circumstances I don't think I'll be able to submit a tape, but I'm wary on declining if my manager will see that I turned it down. I don't want her to think I'll make that a habit for stuff she submits me for.

Dan Green, real name no gimmicks, is easily one of the most underutilized voice actors in the industry, anime or otherwise. He did a lot of work for 4kids, most famously Yu-Gi-Oh!, where he voiced Yugi Moto and the Pharaoh Atem / Yami. He also voiced Knuckles in Sonic X, Entei in Pokemon 3, Mewtwo in Mewtwo Returns, an…

Hey y'all, Actor's access media section says "**Performance Videos** are a one-time charge of $22.00 USD per minute or a fraction thereof." I wanted to ask: if I were to get new footage back and wanted to update my reel, would I have to pay the $22+ AGAIN even though I would only add one new clip? Or is it, for example…

I was introduced to acting through monologues and Shakespeare, not particularly using any technique. However, I know that I "self-direct" and heavily rehearse my lines and emotional beats so that each performance is basically like the last. Which brings me to the allure of Meisner and being open to and listening to the…

Hello actors (especially actors in Los Angeles)! I'm moving to L.A in a couple months and just wanted to know if you had any acting class recommendations? I'm planning on checking out Groundlings right off the bat, but I was also hoping to find a class that has more of an on-camera scene study vibe. Also, any recommend…

So I've been actor professionally now for about 2-3 years, but haven't really crossed this issue until now. I recently got some fantastic headshots done in October last year, and since then my hair has grown a bit, but I don't want to "change my look" per say, and as such don't think new headshots are warranted. In my…

So, I'm pretty excited about an upcoming audition tomorrow, but I think I already failed before I even started. The audition asks for having an accent, and I don't know if I can pull it off. Should I go, butcher a British accent, and go anyway because it's an opportunity nonetheless? Or should I cancel and avoid making…
