I'm a screenwriter, and I'm gonna get the chance to show my contact at CAA what I can do. So I'm dusting off an old project that I think is pretty funny. The thing is, I don't want him to actually have to read it or do any of that hard imagination stuff. So I'm cobbling together an epic pandemic-safe, remotely recorded…

I'm just wondering if there's anything specific beyond the usual travel documents, or if there's a specific visa involved, etc. Most of my search results have been about international actors coming to the US so I thought I'd ask where I might find that info. Thanks!

**NOTE: Link to download the app from the Google Play Store is in the comments!** If you're an actor worth your salt then you should already be intimately familiar with the idea of attaching *verbs / intentions* to your beats, or in other words **how you are going to get what you want** from your scene partner(s). Hi! As said by the title, I was wondering if anyone can be a voice actor. I want to try voice acting because of my love of videogames (League, Overwatch, Atelier, etc.) and I always really adored the voice acting in them. I think I don't have a great voice though.

If you haven't heard of him, he has done so much and helped so many, his 'audition ready online course' is so, so helpful to voice actors who want to understand their tech and not feel overwhelmed about eq, compression, mixing- the lot, and have their audio to a professional standard. I found his video on EQ and was ho…

So the whole goal with acting is to make what you’re saying seem natural right. What if you have a script that is terrible? Should a good actor still make the lines seem natural? Or are some scripts just so unnatural that even a good actor wouldn’t be able to make them sound good? I’d love to hear any thoughts.

I am a writer, and I am struggling to imagine a sound of voice for a particular main character. I thought I would hire a voice actor to read a few lines so I can get a better audio picture of him. However, I don’t know much about the business side of voice acting. I don’t want to cheat anyone, but I am TERRIBLE at busi…
