I searched for find a sub for directors, but I don’t see any. Can anyone help me understand what an average person’s concerns like me about letting a tv pilot shoot in their living room? There are some actors in the scene, so that’s definitely a lot. Stuff breaking? Someone lighting the place on fire? Someone stealing…

Personally, I miss being "in the room" with the actual casting director and other members of the upcoming project. There's something magical about the interaction when you meet. Does anyone else agree? Or are video auditions too convenient to pass up?

I just accepted an audition where I'll be earning a lot less money than usual — no per diem, mileage/toll reimbursements, hotel accommodations, and a five-hour drive each way. Here's why I said yes anyway. - and it was a smart business decision.https://bit.ly/46jvpF4Have you ever accepted an audition or job that didn't…

Hello! I’m a 27 year old actress and moved away from New Jersey in order to pursue acting in LA. However, I just don’t love it. The community doesn’t feel strong, the culture is so different from the east coast, and I’m so far from my family. I’ve done a couple gigs and love my acting class, but find that I’ve been so…

As a voice actor, I've been very curious about this! While revisions are considered a normal part of voice acting, it may be easy to feel discouraged or not good enough. With this in mind, I'm curious to know what is the highest number of revisions you've completed for a client during your voice acting journey?

Hi, all. I searched the site for similar posts so I hope this is not redundant. I am trying to get into acting and am working on building my profiles on Actors Access and Casting Networks. The problem is, all my experience - which does include a documentary on Amazon Prime - is over 10 years old and some is even close…

I never really got into acting because every time I tried it was in front of hundreds of people being put in the spotlight. I realized that in VA that all of that spotlight is taken off of me, my face and physical features. I just want to ask… to all the voice actors out there, is it fun? do you believe its worth it?

Hello! Little bit about me, I'm a senior film student. A couple years ago I began to learn how incredibly difficult acting can be, and after talking with actors and taking some classes myself to better understand your craft, realized how difficult working with directors can be. To any actors on here, I'd like to hear w…

Hey guys ! I’m 21 and I’ve always been passionate about acting but it’s not something that I’ve pursued until now.
